Roses are Red, Violets are Blue!

I am sticking with my current theme…the hottest trends in weddings for 2015. This week is all about flowers from bouquets to hair accessories and even venue decoration.

First up is the Romantic Lush theme. The big trend right now is not showing stems and going for full on luxury. The best way to achieve this look is to go for those flowers deemed romantic which include hydrangeas, hyacinths and orchids in creamy pastel colors. These flowers are beautiful but also extremely pricey so don’t go too crazy.

Just-Picked-From-The-Garden theme was very popular last year and is growing in popularity. The key to achieving this look is choosing a variety of flowers with soft colors that look like they can be picked right out of a garden. Sweet peas, garden roses and tulips are the recommended flowers to achieve this specific look.

Simply Classic is always a popular style brides try to achieve. White and Ivory flowers with bright green stems are the traditional way to get the simple but classic look.

Hanging Blooms are a very bright theme for those brides looking for an explosion of color. This theme is more popular during the spring when colors are blooming everywhere. It also makes for an incredible theme for outside weddings…imagine the picture possibilities.

The last theme is more for the bohemian brides…The Crown. Adding flowers to a crown head piece is another theme growing in popularity. It is a way for the whimsical brides show off there personality. These can be made from pretty delicate flowers like gypsophila, or a fuller blooms like roses and hydrangeas for more impact.

I may or may not have stopped to read this post simply because I liked the pictures but I definitely enjoyed the writing too! Flowers really are a huge detail to a wedding. They can add a theme or emotion to any environment simply by the shape and color that they give off. I love the different types of brides you described whether they be simple and classic or more fun and bohemian. Awesome post!
